The Magazine launches Kickstarter campaign!

One of my favorite clients, The Magazine, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to publish selections of it’s first year as a print AND ebook.

Dozens of talented writers and artists have contributed, selected by amazing owner/editor Glenn Fleishmann, and I’m honored to be a part of it.

Here are some of the sketches I did first, after being asked to explore multiple brownstones. We realized that 3 looked a little cluttered.

I’d also tried some other styles for single brownstones:

When my client asked for a more textured, crayon-y look, I ended up with this “brownstone”
